iTAB Meeting

Monday, September 18 @ 4:30 pm

The Independence Public Library Teen Advisory Board (iTAB) will meet on Sept. 18 at 4:30 in the Community Room. This new group of dedicated teens will energize teen programming and services, and give teens a greater voice at the library.

We meet monthly to discuss books, movies, ideas, volunteer opportunities; plan upcoming events; and talk about what’s going on. We're looking forward to a great year!

All the Bright Places

Teen Book Club

Monday, September 18 @ 6:00 pm

Teens! Join us at the Independence Public Library for a new program this fall – a Teen Book Club!

We will be discussing All the Bright Places by Jennifer Niven. Check out one of the multiple copies available now at the library and join the discussion in the Community Room at 6:00 on this Independence Schools “No School Monday”, September 18.

to be held in the Freedom Room this week

Adults are invited to enjoy a relaxed atmosphere of the Community Room and take part in a friendly game of cards, dominoes, Scrabble, or other game. Light refreshments will be served.
