a) Public Hearing on the Proposed Plans, Specifications, Form of Contract, and Estimate of Cost.

5. Second Reading of An Ordinance Amending the Code of Ordinances of the City of Independence, Iowa, 2005, by Amending Provisions Pertaining to Chapter 99 – Sewer Use Charges.
6. Second Reading of An Ordinance Amending the Code of Ordinances of the City of Independence, Iowa, 2005, by Amending Provisions Pertaining to Chapter 66 – Load and Weight Restrictions.
7. A Resolution Awarding the Contract for the HMA Pavement Widening with HMA Resurfacing Highway 150 South and Three Elms Park Road, Independence, Iowa, Project. (a/k/a Highway 150 South and Three Elms Park Road Turning Lanes Project.)
8. A Resolution of the City Council of the City of Independence, Iowa, Authorizing the Mayor to Sign a Memorandum of Understanding with the Iowa Northland Regional Council of Governments for the Administration of Grant Funds Awarded Through the IDOT’s RISE Fund.
9. A Resolution of the City of Independence, Iowa, City Council, Endorsing the Submission of a High Quality Job Creation Application to the Iowa Department of Economic Development.
